Closed

The children's ski lift and the toboggan run will remain closed this winter season 2023/24 due to the Gurtenbahn renovation. Sledges and skis can therefore not be hired.

Sled run in Bern

If there is enough snow cover, you can whiz down the sled run from the top station to the middle station. The sled run is only 17 minutes from Bern central station. Traditional wooden sleds can be rented at the top station.

You can also go sledding on the large expanse of the Gurten meadow. The short run from the Ostsignal down to the plain is particularly suitable for young children.
