The Gurten – Park im Grünen also offers numerous leisure activities in winter.
When there is enough snow, the children's ski lift is open daily, ideal for children who want to learn to ski. Skis, poles and boots can be conveniently hired on site.
For sledding enthusiasts, there is a sledge run from the mountain station to the middle station – just 17 minutes from Bern railway station! Traditional wooden sledges are available at the mountain station. The Gurten meadow is also ideal for sledding: the short stretch from the Ostsignal to the plain is particularly suitable for small children.

Actual operation is dependent on snow conditions. You can check whether the ski lift and toboggan run are open by looking at the symbol under the website menu.
