A tobogganing excursion in Bern

The summer toboggan promises an unimpeded descent and fast-paced fun for both kids and adults. Tight bends, quick straights and even a tunnel mean that thrills and butterflies in your stomach are guaranteed. You can also enjoy a great view over the Alps and across the rooftops of the capital. You decide how quickly you go. The brake handle means you can adapt the speed as you wish.

School groups, associations or companies can also rent the toboggan run exclusively in the morning, Mondays to Fridays. Find out more here.

Due to the renovation of the Gurtenbahn, the toboggan

run can only be offered exclusively from 13 May 2024.

No, there is no ATM on the Gurten. On the Gurten, we accept the most common debit and credit cards, Twint and cash. Gurtenbahn Bern AG and therefore the toboggan run are cashless. The nearest ATM can be found at the BEKB right beside the “Gurtenbahn” tram stop.

Any lost property handed in is temporarily stored in our office in the main building and handed over once a month to the Köniz police department. If you discover you have lost something, please contact us at 031 970 33 33.

Yes, that is possible. Take the paved road via Ostsignal and Gurtendörfli. You can find more information here about walking and hiking routes.
