Spring Clang

On the weekend of May 2 and 3, the Disc Golf Club walkabout from Bern invites you to the Spring Clang tournament on the Gurten. These are two one-day tournaments of the Disc Golf Swiss Tour 2026. Training rounds will take place on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, all juniors and everyone over 40 will play their rounds, followed by an awards ceremony. On Sunday, the most competitive women and men in the open categories will compete in the tournament.

Disc golf is a growing, intergenerational outdoor sport that works in principle like ball golf, only with different equipment: instead of hitting balls into holes, Frisbees are thrown into baskets. During the two days of the tournament, spectators can marvel at the athletes' throws, which can reach distances of up to 150 meters.

And if you want to play a round of disc golf yourself, you can rent Frisbees from the Huusbüffe self-service restaurant after the weekend with family and friends.
