The Whisky Walk on the Gurten combines culinary sophistication, the fascinating world of whisky, and the beloved view from the Gurten into a unique experience. On an easy hike between Gurten-Kulm and Highland-Gurten, whiskies from the most renowned regions of Scotland and the Bernese Highlands are tasted at various stations. Accompanied by carefully selected snacks and exciting stories about the “water of life,” this is a delightful journey for all the senses.

A highlight of the event is a tour of Highland Gurten's own whisky distillery, which offers exclusive insights into local production. The combination of nature, culture, and indulgence creates a special atmosphere that makes every moment something special.

After the approximately four-hour event, the Gurtners restaurant invites you to an optional 3-course menu that rounds off the day with culinary delights. An event that will delight connoisseurs and whisky lovers alike.

The Whisky Walk is organized in cooperation with Highland Gurten, Rugenbräu, and the Whisky Bibliothek.
