We'll be celebrating Swiss National Day with food, music and tradition. Instead of a short-lived firework display, we're be opting for a sustainable, noise-free experience with friends and the family. National Day is the perfect occasion to spend the day on Bern's local mountain with your loved ones. The Bahnhöfli takeaway stand will be selling delicious barbecued food, while the Frohsinn band will be playing from 6-10 PM. The Gurtgengärtli childcare staff will gladly help your kids make bright, colorful and flowery creations. The park is an open invitation to relax, play board games or have a picnic. Plentiful and traditional brunch will be available at the Tapis Rouge and the Pavillon. While the Gurtners restaurant will offer a varied à la carte lunch and evening menu based on the idea "Good things made with love."

The Gurten is completely firework-free. Kindly note that fireworks of all types are strictly forbidden. Inspections will be carried out. Thank you for your understanding.
