Welcome to the Gurten – Park im Grünen

Following last year's success at Gurten, Fribourg's culinary and light art experience is returning to the chalet on Gurten. The chalets, which sleep 4 to 6 people, are now available to book again.

Immerse yourself in exciting topics with Astro Events, discover constellations, and observe stars and planets through professional telescopes. This year's topics include “Astronomy Day,” “Jupiter, the Moon, and Venus in the Night Sky,” “Perseid Meteor Shower Night,” “Starry Sky Photography,” and “Geminid Meteor Shower Night.”

Explore the starry sky every Tuesday evening in the observatory. Pre-registration required.

A delicious four-course meal with fondue as the main course is served in a chalet, while Vanda the cow is accompanied on her journey through the canton of Fribourg by a light projection.

The observatory on the Gurten is open for free to everyone: come by and observe the stars and planets.
