Gurten funicular reconstruction

The Gurtenbahn conversion will take place up to and including May 15, 2024. Replacement buses will run on the Gurten during this time. The adjusted timetable can be found here.

When the observatory is open, we offer you the perfect addition to your observatory visit: our Stärne(Z)nacht offer. In addition to a delicious three-course meal (either vegetarian or with meat), mineral water and admission to the observatory are also included. You also get a star drink (with or without alcohol) to take with you to sweeten your walk to the observatory.

The observation evenings start at the following times:

April 1–October 31: 9:45 p.m.
November 1–March 31: 9 p.m.

Dinner is available from 5:30 p.m.

The easiest way to find us. There are parking spaces right next to the Gurtenbahn funicular valley station.
