At Gurten we understand that planning a funeral can be a burdensome task. Therefore, we offer compassionate assistance and create a personalized offering that suits your mourning community. Our experienced team is here to help you plan and organize the funeral service, from selecting floral arrangements to providing catering that suits your mourners' requirements.

Ussicht and Wytsicht banqueting rooms

The two former ballrooms of the Gurten Kulm Hotel can be reserved together or individually and are each suitable for 50 mourning guests.

Room rental individually:	CHF 700
Room rental together:	CHF 1,400

In both variants, 20% of the sales revenue is credited to the room rent. From sales totaling CHF 3,500 or more (individual) or CHF 7,000 or more (both rooms), no room rent is charged.

Vaulted cellar

A rustic vaulted cellar with adjacent wine cellar and sheltered arcades offers you the possibility of holding a memorial service both indoors and outdoors whatever the weather. Ideal for smaller mourning societies with up to 40 guests.

Room rental: CHF 600
20% of the sales revenue is credited to the room rent. From sales totaling CHF 3,000 or more, no room rent is charged.

Kulturschüür UPtown

The Kulturschüür UPtown with its two floors offers the possibility to hold a farewell ceremony on the upper floor and a memorial dinner on the lower floor. The Kulturschüür is suitable for mourning societies of up to 80 people.

Room rental: CHF 2800.-
20% of the consumption turnover will be credited to the room rent. From a turnover of CHF 14'000.- the rent is waived.

Pavillon

The pavillon is suitable for large mourning societies with up to 400 persons.

Room rental: CHF 4000.-

Gurtners restaurant

Gurtners embodies the tradition of family hospitality. Under the motto “Good food lovingly prepared”, traditional dishes such as stewed veal are given a modern twist. Gurtners à-la-carte restaurant is ideal for a smaller mourning societies after a memorial ceremony in the nearby cemetery forest.

GTC

For a natural and free way of funeral, a cemetery forest is available on the Gurten, south of the east signal. The cemetery forest offers a way to honor the memory of the deceased and take a moment in nature.
