St. Nicholas Saturday

Visit St. Nicholas and Schmutzli on the Gurten on Saturday, 10 December from 11:00 to 16:00.
While Schmutzli will be doing rounds of the park on the miniature railway, St. Nicholas will be giving out gifts to the children. Regardless of whether the little ones want to recite a poem, tell a secret, or simply have a photo taken with St. Nicholas, the kind old man will have a small gift for them – marshmallows to be roasted over the campfire, delicious punch, and a wonderful souvenir photo from the photo booth. The well-known Christmas bags with nuts and chocolate will, of course, also be available.
Adults can enjoy mulled wine, alcohol-free punch and winter dishes from 11:00 to 17:00 at the miniature railway station take-away stand. Enjoy the idyllic atmosphere on Bern's local mountain and hum along to the best-known Christmas songs.
St. Nicholas' loyal companion Schmutzli will be busy on the playground. Fortunately not with his stick but on the miniature railway and the kids' cars.
The event will take place in all types of weather. Registration is not required.
