Guided gardening in the discovery garden for children

What plant species grow on the Gurten? What creepy-crawlies can I discover under the leaves? How do I plant runner beans and pumpkins and how do I harvest wild herbs? Answers to these and all other questions about the garden as a habitat for plants and small animals can be found by young and old nature fans at the organic garden on the Gurten.

Every Wednesday and Sunday from 13.30 – 16.30, we invite children to actively participate in the Gurtengärtli – with us on the Gurten, gardening becomes a tangible experience. A team is on site to provide an interesting gardening experience for all accompanied children.

The garden afternoons and events are free of charge and take place in all weathers. Registration is not required.

The Gurtengärtli is open daily for visitors and freely accessible.

Supervised garden afternoons are held on Wednesdays and Sundays during the summer months.
